Rained all day today. We drove from Newbury Park to San Pedro. This begins our final leg on the journey westward. We stayed in the Doubletree at the Marina. Rewards points paid for the room, they allow us to park the car for the two week cruise for free and will shuttle us to the dock in the morning.
Our intent was to check into the hotel and then drive over to Grauman's Chinese Theater, the Hollywood walk of fame and Hollywood and Vine. The rain changed our plans, but we'll hit those when we return.
A nice short drive to the port area brought us to the a little fish market restaurant for dinner. Off to bed but probably too excited to sleep.
In the morning we leave on a two week cruise to the Hawaiian Islands. The next five days will be at sea, so there will be no Internet access. Our blog will take some time off. We will report as soon as we can.

We are long time RVers and motorcyclists. Each winter our goal is to leave town before we have to start the snow blower, go someplace warm to ride the Harleys and explore our surroundings.
