Vera and Marc came over to bid us farewell this morning. They brought pastries, which helped, but it is always sad to say good bye.
After all the hugs and kisses we loaded the car in the trailer, unplugged the coach, backed her out of the driveway and hitched it all together.
With a blast of the airhorns we were, for the first time, headed in an easterly direction.
We'll be taking a leasurly route home, but not as slow as the westward journey.
By evening, we were in "sin city", Las Vegas. We'll be staying for a couple of days to visit a couple more cousins before moving along.
