Today we left Ventura Beach RV Resort and headed south to Newbury Park, a section of Thousand Oaks.
We are now "officially" in preparation mode for our two week cruise to Hawaii which sets sail on Saturday from the Port of Los Angeles.
In a move right out of National Lampoon's "Christmas Vacation", we pulled into Cousin Dominik's driveway to spend a couple of days. The motor home will stay here while we are on the cruise and Mia the wonder dog will stay with Dom's mother Vera and her husband Marc. We know they will spoil her while we are gone.
It will take us five days to reach Hawaii, so there may not be any blogging for a while, but I will continue to make entries and post them when service is available.
We are long time RVers and motorcyclists. Each winter our goal is to leave town before we have to start the snow blower, go someplace warm to ride the Harleys and explore our surroundings. This blog documents an amazing journey from December 1, 2010 to March 26, 2011, covering nearly 12,000 miles by land and sea. Thanks to everyone who came along with us through this blog.
