Visitors from the East.
Our friends, Nancy and Ed came to visit us today. They are from Pittsburgh and are biker buddies and traveling companions. We've been to a lot of places all over the country with these folks. And every time we've been on the road with them, we've been having fun.
Now if you think, by reading this blog that we travel a lot, think again. Nancy and Ed are literally "Globe Trotters". I'm pretty sure the only continent they haven't set foot on is Antarctica...and I'll bet it's on their list.
They are in the area to board a cruise ship that will take them from Los Angeles, through the Panama Canal, and end in Florida. It was so nice of them to take the time to drive from L.A. on those gawd awful freeways to come and spend a little time with us.
We swapped Grandson stories and expressed our deep empathy for the folks freezing their butts off back home.
We are long time RVers and motorcyclists. Each winter our goal is to leave town before we have to start the snow blower, go someplace warm to ride the Harleys and explore our surroundings. This blog documents an amazing journey from December 1, 2010 to March 26, 2011, covering nearly 12,000 miles by land and sea. Thanks to everyone who came along with us through this blog.
